‘U Matter Charity’: Succour as Hundreds of Special Needs Children Receive Free Medicare; Isoko South Boss Lauds Initiative

Hundreds of children with special needs and their families received free medical care and humanitarian support on Thursday as the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori, led the U Matter Charity Foundation’s Free Medical Outreach in the Isoko Federal Constituency.
U Matter Charity Foundation is the pet project of the Delta State first lady.
The chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Friday Ovoke Warri and his wife, Mrs. Abigail Warri, joined the First Lady at the outreach, which underscored the Delta State Government’s commitment to improving access to healthcare and enhancing the welfare of vulnerable members of society.
Addressing participants, Deaconess Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to advancing inclusive healthcare and ensuring that children with special needs and other vulnerable groups continue to benefit from quality medical care, compassion, and social support through the U Matter Charity Foundation.
Speaking at the event, Isoko South council chairman, Warri praised the initiative, describing it as a timely humanitarian intervention that reflects the government’s dedication to uplifting the lives of the less privileged.


The council chairman noted that programmes of this nature complement ongoing efforts to build a more inclusive, compassionate, and caring society.
Community leaders, caregivers, parents, and other stakeholders commended the outreach, describing it as impactful and life-changing.
They applauded the U Matter Charity Foundation for its sustained commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of children with special needs while restoring hope and promoting inclusion across Delta State.
The outreach featured free medical consultations, treatment, and other essential healthcare services designed to improve the health and quality of life of children with special needs across the constituency.
To further support the beneficiaries, the U Matter Charity Foundation presented wheelchairs to children with mobility challenges, giving many of them renewed hope and greater independence.
The foundation also distributed food items, educational materials, electronic learning devices, and other relief items to the children and their families.
