‎Tonto Dikeh Launches ‘New Wine’ Spiritual Movement, Says It Is Not a Church

Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has unveiled a new spiritual movement known as the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT).

‎Dikeh announced the initiative on Sunday through a post on her Instagram page, describing NWPT as an interdenominational altar and a global movement of believers seeking spiritual revival and transformation.

‎The movement is anchored on Mark 2:22 of the Bible, which states: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”
‎
‎According to the actress, NWPT is established as a place for believers who desire deeper spiritual experiences and refuse to settle for what she described as “lukewarm Christianity.”
‎
‎The movement’s stated vision is to promote a global awakening of consecrated believers who will operate in the “power, purity and presence of God” and contribute to the transformation of nations.
‎
‎Its mission includes building an interdenominational platform for prayer, revival and apostolic training, while equipping believers, encouraging soul-winning and promoting spiritual freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit.
‎
‎Dikeh clarified that NWPT is not a conventional church, but an intense gathering of believers dedicated to prayer, spiritual growth and advancing what the movement describes as the Kingdom of Christ.
‎
‎The announcement stated that the fellowship will hold every Friday at 6:00 p.m.
‎
‎The launch comes months after Dikeh became increasingly involved in Christian activities and began publicly documenting aspects of her spiritual journey.
