Presenting the budget on Wednesday at the legislative chamber in the council secretariat, Oleh, which he christened “BUDGET FOR THE ISOKO SOUTH PEOPLE”, Warri explained that it will go a long way in delivering on the electoral promises he made to the people in line with the governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE AGENDA policy.

Warri, while thanking the legislative arm for their cooperation and cordial working relationship between the executive and legislative arm, commended and thank the people of Isoko South for the supports so far given to his administration since inception of office and promised the people never to disappoint them.

The majority leader of the legislative arm, Eloho Eza moved a motion for the budget to pass through the first reading and was seconded by Okeoghene Ukoh.

Oghenero Umeh, the councillor from Olomoro, raised a point of urgent public importance concerning sand dredgers in Isoko South as the distance between their sand beach and the main access road was too close and advised that they should take proactive measures to avoid future mishaps.

In the absence of any further deliberation, Eza moved for the adjournment of the plenary session and was seconded by the councillor representing Irri ward 10, Sarah Francis.
