Delta Deputy Speaker, Ochor, Others Hail Okowa On His Man Of Year Award

The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his winning ‘Man of the Year Award’ from Independent Newspaper, describing the award as a reward for hard work, dexterity and prudence.
The Deputy Speaker in a congratulatory message said that the award have once again showed that the developmental strides of Governor Okowa are being appreciated by the people of the State and Nigerians at large.
He described the Award as ‘a reward for excellence’ saying, “Your Excellency, through diligence and prudent management of resources, you have practically demonstrated that you are a leader with strange abilities.
“This award today is indeed a reward of excellence, he added.
In the same vein, the Executive Director Social Services Development, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, has congratulated Governor Okowa for the “Man of the Year Award” conferred on him.
Congratulating the governor, the Executive Director, said Governor Okowa deserve the award, which shows he had been able to manage the economic and security situation of the state, even at the face of the precarious situation of the state due to low flow of revenue.
“The way and manner he had managed the economy and security situation of the state, had been wonderful, despite the low revenue flow of cash to the state on assumption of office, he said.
“With this award from a well read medium like the Independent Newspaper, it shows that all his efforts to move the state forward were being noticed”.
Hon Ochor therefore called on Deltans not to relent in their prayers, as the governor and his team needs it to achieve their electioneering promises of “Prosperity for All Deltans”, which is been pursued under the “SMART” agenda of the government.
