No Military Plane Crashed In Kaduna, As NAF Jet Sustains Operations – Report

There was no military aircraft that left Yola for Kaduna or crashed anywhere in Kaduna State on Sunday against the widely spread report that a military aircraft crashed in the state.

According to report in PRNigeria, a military jet however successfully conducted aerial bombardments of notorious enclaves of armed bandits in Zamfara, one of the North-West States on Sunday.

The PRNigeria quoted an intelligence officer as saying that the aircraft took off from Katsina for an anti-banditry operation against bandits in a neighbouring state.

The operative said: “The aircraft took off from Katsina State this morning and completed its mission against bandits’ dens in the targeted areas in Zamfara State….”

Attempts to reach the NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Edward Gabwet as at Sunday night were not successful as his mobile phone was busy.
