Tinubu’s Minister Matawalle to Marry Off His Nine Children in a Single Grand Wedding Ceremony

The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, is set to marry off nine of his children in a single grand wedding.

Bello Matawalle who was a former governor of Zamfara State, is married to four wives: Aisha, Balkisu, Fatima and Dadiya.

He’s preparing to give out his sons and daughters in a joint wedding ceremony scheduled for February 6, 2026.

Details of the event emerged through a general invitation shared by one Dan Jafaru Aleengoo Turakee, announcing that the weddings will take place at the Central Mosque in Abuja.

Further information from separate wedding invitations revealed some of the individual unions while a unique card from Matawalle listed the names of the various children and their intending spouses.

Former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, is set to marry Nana Bello Matawalle. Ibrahim Sahabi Liman will wed Farida Bello Matawalle, while Safiya Bello Matawalle will be joined in marriage to Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani.
