Chairmanship aspirant for Warri South local government area for the forthcoming council election, Monoyo Edon, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the successful groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed flyover bridges and road expansion projects in Effurun/Warri, Delta State.

Monoyo Edon, who doubles as a media assistant to former governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, in a statement, said that some naysayers who had hitherto thought nothing good will ever come out of the PDP-led Delta State Government have already started becoming believers of the Gov. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda with the Groundbreaking exercise earlier today.

He said that the Governor has shown commitment and capacity to lead Deltans who overwhelmingly trusted him with their votes in 21 out of the 25 LGAs of Delta State in the last general elections.

“Our leaders such as former Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON and the Immediate Past Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa told us like John the Baptist that “the one coming after us will be greater” and indeed, only months into the Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Delta, love, enhanced unity and firm belief in governance have deepened in the hearts of our multiethnic people.

“The underdog of months ago, the so called “agbero” and whatever unprintable names the opposition labelled him has now erased the name of his closest traducer on the ballot in the last election from the lips of Deltans; not just in quadruple LGAs in Delta Central but in all of Delta.

“The Ukodo mantra they usually mock has now become the singsong of megalopolitan development.

“Indeed, “this Ukodo go reach everybody”, he enthused.
