The former governor’s felicitation was conveyed in a statement by his Media Assistant, L. Monoyo Edon, on Sunday.

According to the statement, “upon receiving the news earlier today, Dr. Uduaghan thanked former President Muhammadu Buhari and President Tinubu for the successful installation of the monarch and opined that the Nigerian Army University, Biu (NAUB) could not have nominated a worthy and well-deserving Nigerian to bestow the double honours.

He described the Orodje as a bridge-builder and consummate traditional leader who would bring his long years of military experience and pan Nigerian disposition to bear on his new role in service of Nigeria.

It would also be recalled that last year, former President Muhammadu Buhari conferred on the Orodje, the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) alongside other eminent Nigerians”, the statement said.
