JUST IN: Okowa Appoints Ex-Delta Commissioner, Ebie SSG, Ibori’s Protege, Edevbie Chief Of Staff

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has appointed the immediate past Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Hon. Chiedu Ebie as the Secretary to the State Government.

The appointment was made barely 48 hours after his inauguration for a second term as Executive Governor of oil rich Delta state.

The governor also appointed Olorogun David Edevbie, former Commissioner for Finance and a political protege of Chief James Ibori, as Chief of Staff.

Besides, Governor Okowa named Rt.Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, the former Director General of his campaign organisation and erstwhile commissioner for Work during former governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan’s tenure, as Senior Political Adviser.

The appointments contained in a statement issued on Friday, May 31, 2019 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr. Edwin Ogidi-Gbegbaje, takes immediate effect.
