ManRoy Global Service Limited, in collaboration with Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has donated a brand new 18-seater bus to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents’ Chapel, in a major boost for media mobility in Delta State.

The vehicle presentation took place at the ManRoy corporate office along the DSC Expressway in Udu Local Government Area. The event was witnessed by the Ovie of Great Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM King Monday Obukohwo Whiskey, PhD.

Speaking during the presentation, the Managing Director of ManRoy Global Services, Mr. Collins Okorie, stated that the donation was a token of appreciation for the media’s consistent collaboration with his firm and its primary partner, Tantita Security.

“Without journalism, information cannot be disseminated in society,” Okorie said while handing over the keys.

“You are an essential part of the community, and we recognize the vital role you play”, he added.
Corroborating his views, the manager of administration for Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Princess Daisy Jaja, noted that the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aims to solve the logistical challenges journalists face during field assignments.

“It is always difficult coordinating people across multiple vehicles. Having a dedicated official bus ensures the union members can travel to and from assignments together safely,” Princess Jaja explained, while praising the seamless partnership between Tantita, ManRoy, and the press.

The Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM King Monday Whiskey, commended both corporate entities for their generosity. He urged ManRoy and Tantita Security to sustain their impactful community relations and continue supporting the press.
