The Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Ndokwa Reporters, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, has urged individuals and corporate organizations within the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency to extend maximum support towards the development of grassroots newspapers in the area.

Enebeli made the call in Kwale during the three decades anniversary of Ndokwa Vanguard Newspaper by Mr. Alaska Ekele, the Editor-in-Chief/CEO of Ndokwa Vanguard Newspaper.

Enebeli, who doubles as Chairman of Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) and Secretary of the Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), commended Ekele’s unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity in the media industry, saying that his efforts has not only left an indelible mark on Ndokwa nation but also resonated across the state.

Acknowledging Mr. Ekele’s pivotal role in advancing community media in Ndokwa nation, Enebeli stressed his relentless efforts in amplifying the voices of the people and illuminating their stories, struggles, and triumphs through local newspapers.

He praised Mr. Ekele’s invaluable contributions in shaping the narrative while preserving Ndokwa’s cultural heritage.

However, amidst the celebration, Mr. Enebeli drew attention to a pressing concern – the lack of support from the community and leaders for local newspapers.

He highlighted the indispensable role these papers play as guardians of authentic stories reflecting the identity and culture of Ndokwa/Ukwuani ethnic nationalities.
