NNPCL Appoints Olufemi Soneye As Chief Corporate Communications Officer

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has announced the appointment of Olufemi Oladapo Soneye as its Chief Corporate Communications Officer.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) reports that the appointment was confirmed by the management of the national oil company in a statement released on its official social media account.

In the statement issued on Wednesday, the NNPCL stated that Soneye, a highly experienced journalist with a background in full-time and freelance work for prestigious publications in Nigeria, Australia, and the United States, will head the corporate communications team.

His responsibilities will include enhancing the company’s brand presence, implementing strategic communication initiatives, and managing relationships with stakeholders.

In addition to being a member of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), Soneye is affiliated with other reputable organizations such as the Nigerian Union of Journalists, National Association of Black Journalists, and Society of Professional Journalists.

He also served as the President of the Nigerian Media Practitioners in Washington, DC, United States of America, and is the Publisher of Per Second News.
