Exhaustion Hits Labour Party’s Website After Peter Obi’s Membership

The official website of Labour Party, on Saturday, shoot up in high traffic thus hitting a bandwidth quota exhaustion after former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, announced his membership of the party.

Obi had earlier today, Friday, May 27, 2022, joined the Labour Party of Nigeria and will rejoin the presidential race on its platform.

A tweet from @Official_LPN said: “As earlier reported, H.E Peter Obi Joins Labour Party of Nigeria,

@PeterObi registered as a member of the party on Friday in his ward in Anambra State.

“He is expected to pick the presidential form and contest the party’s presidential primary election next Tuesday.”

 According to social commentator and journalist, Comrade Phils Thomas, “Like Arise TV website, the Labour party website is also exhausted barely 12 hours after Peter Obi joined the party.
“Norms will be broken, new standards will be set and things will never remain the same again in Nigeria.
It is time to take back our dear beautiful country from those who have ruined it for 62 years”, he wrote on Facebook.
