BREAKING: Governor Ortom’s Security Aide Shot Dead

Benue Governor Samuel Ortom’s Senior Special Assistant on Security, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd), has been reportedly shot dead.

Dega was shot in the chest several times by gunmen” in Jos, capital of neighbouring Plateau State on June 2, 2023, according a report by The Nation.

“AIG Dega had a brilliant career in the Nigerian Police Force and was twice Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo states.

“He hailed from Katsina Ala local government area in Benue State,” the report said.
