Isoko South Chairman, Warri Mourns Ex-LG Secretary, Eddy Ugboma

Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta state, Friday Ovoke Warri, has expressed shock following the demise of the former secretary to the council, Eddy Sagini Ugboma (PhD).
Ugboma, an elder statesman, a member of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council, and former member of the Delta State Civil Service Commission, chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and father of ace comedian, Bovi, died on Thursday.
A statement from the office of the chairman, describes the death of Ugboma as a profound loss to the Peoples Democratic Party and the Isoko South local government area and Delta state at large.
“Ugboma was a distinguished elder statesman and accomplished administrator, academician, and historian who served in various capacities in the country. He will be greatly missed within the political sphere of both Isoko South and Delta State. Apart from being a consummate politician, Dr. Ugboma was also a community leader who demonstrated a profound commitment to his community and made significant contributions to the development of the Ivrogbo-Irri community in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
“A distinguished statesman, a devoted patriot who led a life of integrity, a life marked by dedication and decency, has passed away. On behalf of the government and people of Isoko South, I extend my condolences to the immediate family of Dr. Eddy Ugboma and the Irri kingdom. I pray for the soul of the departed to rest in peace and strength for the family amen”
