Two 20-year-olds Confess To Gruesome Murder Of Woman In Attempt To Steal Her Motorcycle

Two 20-year-old boys, have been arrested over a murder case by the Delta State Police Command.

Two other young boys under 25, were also arrested over various murder related cases. One allegedly murdered his friend while the other killed a victim who reportedly assaulted his mother.

One of the suspects who simply gave his name as Ekene (20) from Oliogo, Ndokwa West local government area of the state and his friend reportedly murdered a woman in her farm in an attempt to steal her motorcycle popularly known as Okada.

State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, who paraded the suspects, said that the suspects attempted to rob the victim in a bushy area but ended up strangling her.

According to him, the suspects confessed to have used machetes to inflict fatal head wounds while she was being strangled in the heinous act.

Edafe said that one of the suspects, overcome by guilt, confessed to his mother, who now advised him to report himself to the community vigilante group who later handed him over to the police.

His accomplice who strangled and macheted the woman was also apprehended.

Edafe said; “This is a very sad parade. Young boys, all less than 25yrs all responsible for murder.

“The two I interviewed in this video are both 20yrs old. In an attempt rob the woman in the bush, they strangled the poor woman amd later used matchets on her head one of them couldn’t bear the guilt, he reported confessed to her mother”.

Edafe said that police are working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the crime, with the investigation still underway.
