PDP BOT, Wike Meet Behind Closed Doors Amid Party’s Crisis

<2h>The Senator Adolphus Wabara-led Board of Trustees BoT of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, on Tuesday had a closed-door meeting with the Federal Capital Territory FCT Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.

Although journalists were barred from the meeting, there were speculations that it was part of efforts to resolve tbe lingering crisis in the party, especially in Rivers state.

The BoT had in August written Wike, seeking a meeting, just days after meeting with the Rivers state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

It was not immediately clear whether the BoT was able to reach a resolution with the minister.
