FCID Grills BLORD Group CEO, Linus Williams Over Cryptocurrency Fraud, Terrorism Funding Allegations

The Federal Cybercrime Investigation Department (FCID) is currently investigating complaints against BLORD Group of Companies, BLORD Real Estate Ltd, BLORD JetPaye Limited, and BillPoint Technology.

The complaints allege offences such as cryptocurrency fraud, aiding internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.

“We will do due diligence in our investigations,” said ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer.

“Our cyber space in Nigeria must be safe and secured by all means. We are committed to achieving that.”

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) gathers that investigation is ongoing, and the police are interrogating the CEO of BLORD Group, Linus Williams, over the alleged offences.

According to statement from Force Headquarters, the police are working to ensure that the cyber space in Nigeria is safe and secure, and that all companies operating in the country comply with regulatory frameworks.
