BREAKING: Nigeria’s Crossdresser, Bobrisky Jailed For Six Months With No Option Of Fine Over Currency Abuse

Popular Nigeria’s ross-dresser Idris Okuneye, Aka Bobrisky, has been sentenced to six months in jail with no option of fine.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky this morning, Friday April 12.

The controversial cross-dresser had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge of naira abuse and his sentence deferred till today.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, April 4, filed six-count of money laundering and abuse of naira against him.

On Friday, April 5, EFCC arraigned Bobrisky in court on a six-count charge ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering.

The court, however, dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira Abuse after he confessed to the crime, according the Nation report.
