Apah, Ughelli NUJ Chapel Chairman Loses Father-In-Law

The death of Pa. Anthony Fakorede, the beloved father-in-law of Chief Sunday Apah, Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel.

Pa Fakorede was a respected figure in Ifon community, headquarters of Ose Local Government Area, Ondo state, until he passed away peacefully on 11th November, 2023 at the age of 95.

In a statement by Chief Sunday Apah, late Pa. Fakorede Born on 10th November, 1928 in Ifon, and led a remarkable life dedicated to service, family, and community.

“He was highly regarded for his contributions to the local community and his unwavering commitment to the betterment of society.

“Throughout his years, Pa. Fakorede actively participated in various social and philanthropic initiatives, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

“Papa’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the positive impact he made in his community. His legacy of compassion, dedication, and service will continue to inspire others for generations to come”, it added.
