Atikugate: Keyamo Hits Atiku Again,  Seeks Court Order To Serve Him Court Documents Through Substituted Means

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, Esq., has returned to the Federal High Court, Abuja, this time seeking the nod of the court to serve court processes on the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the February 25, 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, through substituted means.

Keyamo had earlier stormed the court on January 20, 2023, seeking an order compelling the country’s anti-graft agencies to investigate, arrest and try Atiku for alleged corruption.

In the latest Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/84/2023 dated 26th Day of January, 2023, Keyamo, who currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs and Chief Spokesperson for the Tinubu-Shettima 2023 APC Presidential Election Campaign Council, is asking for the following:

1. AN ORDER granting leave to the Plaintiff/Applicant to effect service of  the Originating Summons and all subsequent processes in this suit on the 1st Defendant by substituted means to wit: by serving same on any adult staff of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation located at Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Beside Access Bank, Wuse II, Abuja or by pasting same at a conspicuous part of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation Office located at Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Beside Access Bank, Wuse II, Abuja.

2. SUCH FURTHER or other orders as this Honourable court may deem fit to make in the circumstances of this case.

The substantive suit has Atiku as the first defendant; Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) as second defendant; Independent Corrupt Practices (And Other Related Offences) Commission (ICPC) as third defendant; and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as fourth defendant.
