BIGPENNGR reports that Ali disowned the social media account in a statement released to newsmen by the Delta State Police Command’s Public Relation Officer, DSP Bright Edafe on Monday.

Edafe said that the suspected impostor has been parading himself as CP Ari Muhammed Ali and has been using the fake account to defraud unsuspecting innocent citizens.

Urging members of the public to disregard the fake Facebook account, he said that police has put measures in place to arrest the reported impostor who has been using the account to fraudulently solicits for financial assistance from members of the public

The statement reads; ‘The attention of Delta State Police Command has been drawn to a fake Facebook handle created by a mischievous person parading himself as CP Ari Muhammed Ali FCIA, psc+ and has been using the fake account to defraud unsuspecting innocent citizens.
