The father of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Sir Arthur Okowa, is dead.

BIGPENNGR.COM reports that the elderly Okowa died in the early hours of Thursday, January 28, 2021.

This is coming few hours after the death of Majority Leader of the the Delta State of Assembly, Mr. Tim Owhefere.

The deceased who is the patriarch of the Okowa family of Owa-Alero in Agbor, died at the Federal Medical Centre Asaba, the state capital after a brief illness.

He was 88 years.

Pa. Arthur Okowa was born in 1932 in Owa Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.

No official State Government confirmation of the death as of press time but multiple sources from the state confirmed it.
