Diligent Top Police Chief Dies In Delta
A Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, Delta State Command, DCP Mamman Sale Rijau, has been reported dead.
He dead on Monday night after a brief illness.
It was not clear what led to his death but BIGPEN understands that the diligent and meticulous police chief had history of diabetes.
The Commissioner of Police, Delta State, Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the death in a terse message on Tuesday morning, saying the officer would be interred this morning according to Islamic injunctions.
“It’s with deep shock and sorrow I sadly announced the death of our friend, brother and colleague DCP. OPS. DELTA COMMAND –DCP. MAMMAN A. RIJAU on Monday 22/06/2020 after 2300 hrs.
“He died after brief illness. He will be buried according to Islamic injunctions at Minna, Niger State today Tuesday 23/06/2020. “May Allah grant him eternal rest, forgives his past and reward him with Jannatul Firdau’s, Amin”, the CP wrote.
