BREAKING: Nigeria Reports No New COVID-19 Deaths In Single-Day, Adds 265 New Cases

Nigeria has recorded no new COVID-19 deaths in a single-day, more than a month after the surge in fatalities rate of the virus but added 265 new cases, pushing its nationwide case tally to 7526.

As of Friday, the deaths toll stood at 221 from initial 211 and has remained so across the nation as of Saturday night.

Announcing the figures via its twitter handle this night, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), said that 133 cases were recorded in Lagos, 34 in Oyo, 28 in Edo, 23 in Ogun, 22 in FCT and 6 in Plateau.

Others states such as Kaduna has 5 cases, Borno has 3, Niger got 3, Kwara had 2, Bauchi 2, Anambra had 2 while Enugu got two new cases.

So far, the country currently has 7261 cases nationwide, 2174 successfully treated and discharged and 221 deaths from the infection.
