Nigeria Reports 19 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Edo, Kano, Akwa-Ibom, Others

Nigeria’s Centre for Disease Control (CDC), has reported nineteen additional new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in five states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Giving the break down of the figures, NCDC says, 14 in Lagos, 2 in FCT, 1 in Kano, 1 in Akwa Ibom while 1 was recorded in Edo state.

As at 09:20 pm 14th April, there are 362 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country with 99 persons who previously tested positive, successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres across the country.

Lagos state had earlier in the day recorded one death, bringing the number of death to 11.
