UPDATED: BREAKING: Delta Hospital Debunks Rumour Of COVID-19 Patient In Its Facility

A popular hospital located in Warri, Delta State has debunked rumour making the round that a foreigner who just arrived from the United State of America had visited its facility to undergone routine checkup and test for Coronavirus pandemic.

The management of Lilly Hospital Limited in a statement signed by Dr Ferguson Ehimen, Consultant Public Health Physician and Dr Austin Okogun, Chief Executive Officer, on Friday, said a Nigerian, (not a foreigner), had on March 17, after undergoing a simple elective out-patient procedure, requested to undergo the COVID-19 test since he just arrived from the United Kingdom 5 days priors to his visit to the health facility but tested negative alongside staff who were in contact with him.

The hospital stated that the out-patient had no clinical indications or general signs or symptoms relating to COVID-19.
