Buhari, Jonathan Meet In Abuja Amid Calls For Buhari’s Resignation

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met his predecessor, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan at the presidential villa, Abuja.

The closed door meeting between the two leaders came amidst the growing calls for Buhari resignation over his failure to handle myriads of security issues confronting the country.

Jonathan, a leader of the main opposition party, PDP was sighted at the Presidential villa shortly after a meeting of the National Security Council presided over by Buhari ended.

No reason has been given why Buhari of the APC met with the former president as of press time.
