PHOTO: Gov. Okowa In China To Shop For Investors For Delta Park

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state has arrived China for state visit to shop for prospective investors of an industrial park in the state.

The governor was received by Nigeria Ambassador to China, Amb. Baba Ahmad Jidda on his arrival on Monday.

Announcing his arrival on his verified facebook page, he wrote “In an effort to fast-track the takeoff of the Kwale Industrial Park, which will create more than 70,000 new jobs in Delta State, I just arrived in China to meet with prospective investors and other key project stakeholders”.

Recalls that Okowa was among the 15 governors that where at the first Nigeria-China Governors’ Investment Forum which took place in the metropolitan city of Guangzhou in China in 2017.
