Okowa Re-appoints Fmr Jonathan’s Aide, Monye, Fmr NDDC Boss, Aguariawodo, 3 Others As Advisers
Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has re-appointed former Special Adviser to erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan on Performance Evaluation and Monitoring, Professor Sylvester Monye, as well as former NDDC Managing Director, Sen Emmanuel Aguariawodo as Advisers.
The governor named Monye as Senior Policy Adviser while Aguariawodo will serve as Special Adviser alongside Hon Efe Ofoburuku and erstwhile Delta Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Emmanuel Okoro who were also appointed as Special Adviser.
Monye and Aguariawodo were Special Advisers in Okowa’s first tenure.
The governor also named his former Commissioner for Economic Planning, Dr Kingsley Emu as Chief Economic Adviser.
This was contained in a statement obtained by BIGPEN Online on Wednesday signed by Secretary to the State Government, Chiedu Ebie, who said the inauguration date will be announced in due course.
