Emerhor Associate, Aruasi Denies Defection Report, Says Blackmailers At Work

Chief Joe Aruasi, an All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain in Delta State has denied report that he has defected to the PDP to prepare ground for the eventual defection of Olorogun Otega Emerhor.
Aruasi, an associate of Emerhor was reported in an online media (not BigPen Online) to have joined the member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon Leo Okuweh Ogor on a consultation visit in Oleh, headquarters of Ispko South Council Area.
But reacting to the claims, Arausi told BigPen Online that the report was the handiwork of blackmailers and mischief makers.
Arausi said he didn’t join Ogor as claimed in the report but was in the venue of his consultation visit for a different purpose.
According to him, he was in the home of Sir Mathias who loss his uncle, Chief Idama Eto for a condolence visit when Ogor coincidentally came in with a large entourage for a consultation visit
“What happened was that I paid a condolence visit to Sir Mathias Eto who loss his uncle Chief Idama Eto who died 3 days ago.
“ln the process Hon. Leo Ogor came with a large entourage of PDP members for a condolence visit as well.
“The post is a deliberate blackmail and not a true reflection of the event”, Aruasi said.
