Isoko North Chairman Salutes Leo Ogor, Wayles Egukawhore on Birth Anniversary

The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba, has congratulated the former house of representatives, Leo Okuweh Ogor on his 67th birthday.

Ogorugba, in a statement personally signed by him in Ozoro, described former minority leader as a rare leader, a father figure, and a true trailblazer whose impact in legislative service remains remarkable.

According to the council chairman, “You were not just a member of the House of Representatives; you displayed exceptional legislative prowess that earned you the respect and recognition of a legislative General in the Green Chamber. Rt. Hon. Ogor’s voice resonated clearly on the national stage, representing Isoko North/South federal constituency with confidence, grace, and deep knowledge of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the House rules.”

Ogorugba also expressed gratitude for the role Ogor played in his political journey, adding, “I will not forget your immense contribution to my political growth, serving under you in different capacities shaped me and brought me this far, and for this, I remain deeply grateful, sir.”

Ogorugba prayed for God’s continued blessings, renewed strength, and good health for the former principal officer of the national Assembly, noting that his wisdom and counsel are still greatly needed.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Isoko North Local Government Council, I joyfully wish you happy 67th birthday and many more wonderful years ahead, as we pray that God Almighty continues to grant you good health and strength to continue to render quality service to humanity and source of blessings to our generation.”

In the same vein, Ogorugba, has described Emonena Wayles Egukawhore as a great Nigerian with patriotic heart and extensive contribution to the sub-national and national social-economic development.

‎In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday by the council boss, on the occasion of Emonena Wayles 60th birth anniversary Ogorugba noted, “As a business mogul, his vast experience has over the time brought about innovation, economic growth and community development, as a super technocrat and visionary team player who consistently motivates people to attain their dreams through his set goals of rendering humanitarian services, will continue to heart the yearning of the good people of Isoko nation.

‎”High Chief Emonena Wayles Egukawhore JP, is a man of dignity and honor who believes in doing good at every moment, giving out his best to the economic growth of our dear nation through his field. On behalf of my family, the good people of Isoko North LGA and well wishers, I heartily congratulate you on the occasion of your birthday anniversary celebration. You are indeed a special breed, a consummate business tycoon and a driver of great visions to fruition. As you celebrate today, may God Almighty continue to enlarge your coast, grant you good health and uncommon wisdom to excel as you age on.”, Ogorugba prayed.
