BREAKING! Feyemi’s Convoy Kills Police Inspector In Ekiti

Convoy of All Progressive Congress, APC candidate in Ekiti governorship race, Kayode Fayemi has killed a police officer, one Inspector Gabriel Kayode.

He was knocked down at Fajuyi area of Ado Ekiti by one of the vehicles in Fayemi’s convoy.

Inspector Gabriel Kayode is of the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) and is due for promotion to the rank of ASP.

Meanwhile, Governor Ayo Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka confirmed the incident in a post made on his Facebook account.

BigPen Online recalls that three weeks ago, June 1 during a reception in honour of Fayemi in Ado Ekiti, a mobile policeman reportedly opened fire as Fayemi, surrounded by scores of party chieftains, was leaving APC’s state secretariat to move to the city centre in continuation of the rally.

A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele and five other people were hit by bullets.

Ekiti governorship election is billed for next month.
