20 Years Old Pipeline Bomber Arrested In Bayelsa

The Police in Bayelsa State has arrested one Temona Alison, a suspected cult member and pipeline vandal, who has been on its wanted list.
Alison, who is in his 20s, was apprehended by Bayelsa State Command Strike Force on Sunday in his house on Tombia-Ammassoma Road by Boxi Water.
BigPen Online gathered that the suspect was arrested in possession of four grenades (miniature bombs), one live cartridge, a pair of military uniform, one cutlass, among other.
A police who confided in our correspondent, said that Alison had been on police wanted list over some criminal acts perpetrated by him.
Though the source did not indicate what the suspect uses the grenades for, it is believed that the suspect uses them in destroying crude oil pipelines to siphon from them.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect was already undergoing interrogation.
The command’s spokesman said, “On Sunday, February 4, 2018 at about 0100 hours, the Bayelsa State Command Strike Force, a team that specialises in tracking down wanted criminals, arrested one Temona Boleigha Alison, male, based on a tip-off.
“The suspect was arrested in possession of four hand grenades, one live cartridge, a pair of military uniform, one machete, one SIM card and 12 wraps of substance suspected to be cocaine.
“The suspect is undergoing a thorough interrogation. Investigation is ongoing”.
