Delta Councilor Donates Text Books To Schools

The Councilor representing the people of Kunukunuma Ward 17 inWarri South-West Local Government Council in Delta State, Hon.Donkumo Maxwell Aru has donated volumes of school books and other educational materials to two primary schools in Delta State.

The donations, Aru said was part of his contribution to develop the elementary primary education which is the bedrock of any society.

“This donation has the ability to encourage human capital development in the nearest future”, Ara said.

The items, reportedly worth millions of naira were given to pupils of Jei-Jei and Kunukunuma Federated Communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

While presenting the text books to Jei-Jei and Ogen Primary Schools today, Aru stated that the donation is his own way of encouraging educational growths within his ward in line with the leadership of the Warri South-West Local Government Council led by Hon. George
Ekpemupolo, Chairman.

“Parents should be encouraged
to send their children/ wards to school without necessarily complaining of inabilities to buy needed text books and educational materials from Primary 1 to 6.”.

“As the Councilor representing this great Ward, I have decided to give
part of what society has given me by donating educational text books
and other educational materials that will encourage our wards to see
the importance and relevance of education.”

Head Teachers of Jei-Jei Primary School, Pastor Uwejeta Convey thanked
Hon. Aru for the donations to the School just as he promised that the books will be judiciously and effectively used in boosting the educational development of the school and the entire country.

“I have no enough quality words to express my gratitude to God
Almighty and to you all for this noble gesture, but to say thank you
and that God will reward you and open doors of greater success for you
and your families in Jesus Name.

In his goodwill message, Apostle Monday Torousei, Chairman of Kututie Community, appreciated and encouraged Hon. Aru to continue to provide educational materials for the people just as he implored him to invite his friends to do same.

The Head-Mistress of Ogeh Primary School, Comrade(Mrs.) Julie Okirika
also appreciated Hon. Aru for the donations.

Chairman of Kunukunuma Federated Communities,Chief Moses Bebenimibo
hailed Hon. Aru for the donations saying,” This is the first time a
councilor has come to donate books in Kunukunuma.”

Bebenimibo said, “ We are very grateful. We pray for you to get more political office higher than this. We pray for long life for you. We will support you with prayers. We are always with you.”

An elder of Kunukunuma Community, Chief Clement Aruwei also thanked
Hon. Aru saying,” Your political career shall grow to the highest
level.”
