The Councilor representing the people of Kunukunuma Ward 17 inWarri South-West Local Government Council in Delta State, Hon.Donkumo Maxwell Aru has donated volumes of school books and other educational materials to two primary schools in Delta State.

The donations, Aru said was part of his contribution to develop the elementary primary education which is the bedrock of any society.

“This donation has the ability to encourage human capital development in the nearest future”, Ara said.

The items, reportedly worth millions of naira were given to pupils of Jei-Jei and Kunukunuma Federated Communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

While presenting the text books to Jei-Jei and Ogen Primary Schools today, Aru stated that the donation is his own way of encouraging educational growths within his ward in line with the leadership of the Warri South-West Local Government Council led by Hon. George
Ekpemupolo, Chairman.

“Parents should be encouraged
to send their children/ wards to school without necessarily complaining of inabilities to buy needed text books and educational materials from Primary 1 to 6.”.

“As the Councilor representing this great Ward, I have decided to give
part of what society has given me by donating educational text books
and other educational materials that will encourage our wards to see
the importance and relevance of education.”
