Show biz promoter and founder of Bendel Schools Reunion, Mr. Ken E. Oloye has been nominated as a recipient of the coveted Gathering of Africa’s Best (GAB) Awards.

The forthcoming 19th edition of the Annual award will hold on Sunday, 3 December 2017 at Hilton London Canary Wharf, London.

Besides Oloye, Bendel Schools Reunion, was also nominated to receive award in the event.
Confirming this, Oloye said that his nomination came as a surprise as he didn’t know people love and appreciate what he does.

He thanked the organisers for finding him worthy as well as honouring Bendel School Reunion as a body.

According to him,  the honour would only spur him to do more for society and bring more honours to Bendel Schools.

BigPen Online which have partnered Oloye over the years on the initiative reports that Bendel Schools Reunion and Friends is a social networking organization that brings together old school mates and lost friends in the diaspora.
The concept of the schools reunion has united Nigerians more than any other socio-ethnic or religious organizations in the UK and beyond.

Some of the fruits of the schools reunion include its regular meetings across the UK and to stimulate the spirit of giving back projects, like renovations of our alma-mater.

Oloye, who has been championing this initiative had cited the example of renovations of classrooms, building of toilet and fencing of Victory primary school on Ewah Road in Benin City as some of efforts of the reunion and urged other alma maters in Nigeria to follow suit.
