It was fanfare and pageantry at the 2019 Bendel Schools Reunion Party held last weekend in United Kingdom.

The show packaged by popular UK-based showbiz promoter, Mr Oloye E Oloye, at the Haverstock Banquet Hall London was a resounding success with London popular television, Yanga TV on Sky Channel 453, for the first time highlighting the event in their programmes.

It was night of scintillating shows that were laced with good background music by UK ‘big boy’ disc jockey, DJ Ehis who took guest down memory lane by blasting old school jams and a sprinkle of new school vibes into the wee hours of the morning.

The 8th edition of the annual event was a blast with avalanche of activities all through the night to entertain the guest who flew in from around the world. The highlight of the side attraction being the knotting of tie by women and tying of head tire (Gele) by men as coordinated by the duo of Mc Conrand and Princess Osta.

Prior to this, Mr Ritchie George, who declared the event open had warmly welcomed the guest and spoke glowingly about the importance of the annual reunion and the target of giving back to the alma-mater.

Emmanuel Usoh, the erstwhile Commissioner of Wealth Creation in Edo State who also flew all the way from Nigeria to grace this August event as special guest of honour, also spoke about the importance of the reunion and how imperative it is for the Diaspora community to continue to bond and strengthen both professional and personal relationships.
