Obaseki Receives COVID-19 Test Kits Donation From Edo-based Chinese Firm

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has announced receiving COVID-19 test kits worth N120 million from a Chinese firm based in the state.

The governor, in his verified twitter handle, said he received 350,000 facemasks, 10,000 pairs of medical gloves, 18,000 pieces of test kits, 200 cartons of disinfectant and 40 pieces of decontamination equipment, valued at over N120 million from the management of Yongxing Steel Company.

The donation from Yongxing Steel Company, which operates at Utesi, in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area (LGA) of Edo State, is one of the largest contributions we have received in the fight against #COVIDー19, Obaseki tweeted.
