Artisans Hails Gov. Oborevwori on Appointment of Atafiri as Special Adviser

The Local Government Artisans of Delta Central Senatorial District, have congratulated Hon. Edwin Atafiri on his well-deserved appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Artisans Matters.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Delta Central Senatorial District, Comrade Kingsley O. Azanor, on Sunday, the artisans, also commended Governor Oborevwori for finding Atafiri worthy to serve under his administration.

Azanor said that the appointment is not only a recognition of his dedication and years of commitment to the growth and unity of artisans, but also a clear sign that competence, loyalty, and grassroots connection still matter in leadership.

“We are confident that your experience and understanding of the challenges facing artisans will bring meaningful progress and stronger representation at the state level”, he noted.

He commended the Governor for the “thoughtful appointment and for remembering the Artisans Association in his administration”.

Azanor, said that the gesture has reassured the people that the present government values the contributions of artisans to the economic development of Delta State.

“As stakeholders across the eight Local Government Areas of Delta Central, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the administration of His Excellency and to the broader vision of our Principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, under the Renewed Hope Agenda. We believe that continuity, stability, and practical leadership remain essential for sustainable growth.

“Furthermore, we declare our full support for His Excellency’s return to office in 2027, trusting that his leadership will continue to advance the interests of the people and strengthen the position of artisans across the state.
