Delta Community Pays “Thank You Visit” to Council Boss

People of Otie-Owhe community, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have paid what they called a “thank you” visit to the council chairman, Godwin Ogorugba.

Leading the thank you visit to Ogorugba’s Otor-Igho country home, Isoko North on Saturday, Samuel Ogaga Ogura who spoke on behalf of the people said the efforts of the council chairman in promoting peace and unity as well as delivering dividends of democracy in Otie-Owhe community, they decided to paid the council chairman a thank you visit.

“The show of doggedness, resilience and commitment of the council chairman and the peace which has come to stay in our community will allow individuals to leave without fear, anxiety, or trauma, which is crucial for mental and physical health.

“The leadership of Otie-Owhe community, we must acknowledge the rapid and swift response of the council chairman, for personally putting a seal of peace to our dear community, this he has taken as an utmost priorities in his led administration, instead of us spending our money in court cases and police, we have listened to our chairman to accept peace and unity

‎”There’s no doubt that your intervention to bringing lasting peace to Otie-Owhe community will generate more unity that will give rise to sustainable development and progress in Otie-owhe community”

Responding, the council chairman, Godwin Ogorugba, expressed satisfaction and thanked the Otie-Owhe community for the visit even as he called for united Otie-Owhe community, adding that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of war and rancour.
