Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed how she overcame her addictions, which she started at the age of 13 and suffered for 27 years.

Giving her testimony during a Sunday sermon at Streams of Joy International Church, Tonto Dikeh, disclosed that she began smoking at 13 and struggles with alcoholism, masturbation, and long-term rage.

Dikeh described her addictions as “demonic oppression,” and credited her release from them to divine intervention, stating that she began to see improvements once her spiritual life improved.

“I smoked since I was 13. God healed me from masturbation, too. I have known myself to have sexual intercourse in the dream ever since I was a child,” the actress said.

She explained that she got addicted to smoking because her father was a smoker. She urged parents not to expose their children to harmful habits.

The 40-year-old said God also recently healed her from “demonic anger,” which she said previously affected her relationships and personal life.

After the actress’ testimony, the founder of Streams of Joy International Church, Pastor Jerry Eze prayed for her, declaring that “the burden of sin is broken” and describing her as “a voice in her generation.”
