The Delta State Government has announced the inaugural edition of the Delta State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Summit 2025, scheduled to hold from December 3 to 5, 2025, in Asaba.

Organised by the Delta State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (DEMSMEDA), the three-day summit is themed “Advancing Delta MSME: From Vision to MORE Value.”

It is designed to convene entrepreneurs, industry leaders, policymakers and a wide spectrum of MSME stakeholders to deliberate on growth opportunities and emerging challenges in the sector.

According to DEMSMEDA, the summit will be officially declared open by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, while renowned banker and entrepreneur, Mr. Tony Elumelu, CFR, will chair the event.

The Executive Secretary/CEO of DEMSMEDA, Dr. Godwin Adolor, who signed the official announcement and invitation, said the maiden summit represents a significant step in advancing the Oborevwori administration’s commitment to strengthening the MSME ecosystem and expanding economic opportunities for Deltans.

He added that participants are expected to register online either as attendees, exhibitors, or innovators pitching business ideas, via the agency’s website: https://demsmeda.delta state.gov.ng

The summit is slated to take place at the Mariam Babangida Leisure Park, Anwai Road, Asaba, beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.
