President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has met a high-powered delegation of All Progressive Congress (APC) leaders from Delta State at the presidential villa.

The delegation was led by the Delta State APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie,, on Thursday.

The meeting, held at the State House, was attended by key figures from Delta State’s political landscape, including the three APC Senators from the state —Senator Ned Nwoko, Senator Ede Dafinone, and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, representing Delta North, Central, and South respectively.

The meeting was part of moves to strengthen the party at the state level.

Also present at the crucial meeting were Hon. Francis Waive, representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, and the former National Women Leader of the APC, Hon. Stella Okotete, who also serves as the Executive Director of NEXIM Bank.

The primary focus of the meeting was to brief President Tinubu on the current state of the APC in Delta State.

The delegation presented a detailed overview of the party’s activities and highlighted the ongoing efforts to foster internal democracy within the party at the grassroots level.
