Binance CEO Reacts To Gambaryan’s Release Says Nigeria Is Well-positioned To Leverage Blockchain Technology

Binance CEO Richard Teng has expressed profound relief and gratitude following the release of Tigran Gambaryan, who was detained in Nigeria for nearly eight months.

He salutes Gambaryan’s resilience during his ordeal and also thanked everyone involved in securing his release.

Teng confirmed that Gambaryan’s health and well-being are now Binance’s top priority, ensuring he receives necessary medical care and rest with his family.

The Binance CEO expressed the company’s commitment to collaborating with global regulators for compliance and transparency in the digital asset space.

Despite the face-off, Teng also highlighted Nigeria’s potential to leverage blockchain technology, addressing economic and social challenges with its young, tech-savvy population.

He said, “We are deeply relieved and grateful that Tigran Gambaryan has finally been released after enduring nearly eight months of detention in Nigeria. Throughout this difficult period, Tigran has shown immense strength, and we commend his resilience in the face of such severe adversity. We are deeply thankful to everyone who dedicated countless hours to support Tigran’s release.
