Delta LG First 100 Days: ex-IDU President General, Others Hail Isoko North Council Boss Over Laudable Achievements

Iduh Amadhe, former President General of the Isoko Development Union and PDP chieftain, has commended Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area in Delta State, on his impressive performance within his first 100 days in office.
Amadhem a high chief in Isoko land, noted the performance and achievements of the council chairman in 100 days in office surpass those of a typical one-year tenure.
He said that Ogorugba’s achievements were visible to all sons and daughters of Isoko Nation.
Amadhe, one time chairman of Isoko South council gave the commendations when Ogorugba and his Isoko South counterpart, Friday Ovoke Warri paid him a condolence visit over the death of his father, late Pa Ogor Amadhe.
He attributed Ogorugba’s success to his ability to make Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s “MORE AGENDA” visible in Isoko North. Other leaders, including Ajirioghene Osifihor and Felix Adaimoni, echoed Amadhe’s sentiments, described Ogorugba as a “political working machine” and a “blessing to Isoko North people.”
His words: “Your performance and achievements with-in 100 days in office is more than one year in office which is very visible to all sons and daughters of Isoko Nation. We are proud of you Mr. Chairman for making the MORE AGENDA of his Excellency Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, governor of Delta state practically visible in Isoko North, may God grant you divine wisdom and grace to do more,” Amadhe stated.
Also speaking, Ajirioghene Osifihor, Isoko North PDP chieftain from Ofagbe community, described Ogorugba as a political working machine which can not be compared in terms of speed and functionalities in achieving it’s objectives.
“Just with-in 100 days in office, the chairman has done exceedingly very well in every aspect of his administration and Isoko North people are very happy with his performance, this purely shows that he is a selfless and visionary leader who came prepared and ready to serve his people.”
Speaking in the same vein, immediate past councillor, Ozoro ward 2, Felix Adaimoni applauded the performance of the Isoko North council chairman describing him as a blessing to Isoko North people.
“Just with-in 100 days in office I can tell you categorically that the chairman apart from initiating and executing numerous projects across the local government, in terms of human capital development, the Chairman has done noble by appointing over 20 political aides accros the various wards and also employed over 30 persons as casual staff in the council.
“Indeed Ogorugba is a grassroot politician who knows the needs of Isoko North people and ready to put Isoko North local government among the most performing councils in Nigeria. I urge all political leaders irrespective of political affiliations and religious leaders to give him maximum support and prayers to do more for Isoko North people.”
Enumerating some of the achievements of Ogorugba, the Isoko North Supervisory councillor for Environment, Joshua Alebe named the rehabilitation of Otor-Owhe-Owhelogbo road, rehabilitation of failed portions along Otor-Iyede road, construction of 15 units lock-up stores and four toilets at Ofagbe community big market (ongoing), tilling of walkways at Isoko North administrative block, distributions of free notes books to all the 43 public primary schools in Isoko North, distribution of School bags, sandals, shoes, water bottles and writing materials to public primary schools, provisions of food materials to orphanage homes in isoko North, purchasing of computers and printers for effective administration, installations of Skylink Network (Ongoing).
“In terms of human capital development, the Chairman has appointed over 20 political aides across the various wards and also employed over 30 persons as casual staff and lastly there is ongoing skills acquisition training for our youths in the council. I have absolute confidence on my boss, Hon. Godwin Ogorugba that he will perform beyond human imaginations,” he concluded.
