Miracle Baby: Hunters Rescue Newborn Buried Alive In Benue Forest

A baby girl was found buried alive in Ashav Kusuv forest in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State.

The baby was discovered by a group of hunters who were on an expedition in the forest.

According to report in Daily Trust, the hunters exhumed the baby from the shallow grave and rushed her to the village hospital for medical attention

The baby is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Ashav Kusuv community of Buruku LGA and is reported to be stable, the report reads.

Meanwhile, the Council Chairman of Buruku LGA, Agber Iorkyan, has confirmed the incident and an investigation is underway to determine who abandoned the baby and why.
