FRSC Denies Partnership With Anyone Selling Stickers To Shuttle Bus Drivers In Delta State

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has clarified that it is not involved in any partnership regarding the sale of stickers to shuttle bus drivers in Delta State.
This was contained in a statement by Udeme Bassey Eshiet, the Delta State Sector Commander of FRSC who emphasized that such practices go against the mission of the Corps.
Eshiet urged shuttle bus drivers to be cautious and not fall victim to the scams orchestrated by individuals seeking to extort money.
These individuals claim that the stickers they sell will protect the drivers from arrest in the event of a traffic law violation.
Eshiet stressed that it is important for drivers to refuse to be deceived by these mischief makers and extortionists.
In response to this issue, Eshiet advised the motoring public and road users to abide by all traffic laws and regulations.
He warned against offering bribes to FRSC operatives and emphasized the need to avoid speeding, overloading, using unsafe tires, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Eshiet also announced that the Corps will soon commence a joint operation called “OPERATION SANITIZE ASABA – BENIN and ASABA – ONITSHA HIGHWAYS OF TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS.”
