Chief Jite Brown, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Udu constituency, Delta State, has called on his supporters to maintain their focus and stay positive in the aftermath of the recent Appeal Court verdict that favoured the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.

In a statement released in Warri, Chief Brown expressed his acceptance of the court’s decision with grace, attributing all power to divine will.

He emphasized that he would not challenge the judgement but instead find gratitude in all circumstances, however challenging they might be.

Chief Brown maintained however that his legal team is currently examining the Appeal Court’s ruling to better understand and learn from the judges’ decision adding that the process, would enhance his grasp of electoral matters.

The Udu constituency leader appealed to his supporters, especially those in the local government area, to stay composed and dedicated in their support for him.
He optimistically pointed out that future opportunities for better service to them may arise.

According to him; “We have fought a good fight and exhausted all the legal means provided in the constitution to reclaim our mandate but God is the one that gives power and we cannot question him when things are not working the way we expected”.
