BREAKING: Omo-Agege Reportedly Expelled From APC In Delta

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege,has been allegedly expelled as member of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta state.
The expulsion was contained in a resolution made by the State Executive Committee (SEC) of the party in a meeting held on the 31 March, 2023 at the State Secretariat, Asaba.
BIGPEN NIGERIA (www.bigpenngr.com), however, couldn’t confirm the authenticity of the letter which reportedly emanated from the Secretariat of the party in Asaba but some sources have described it as fake.
The letter said; “after due deliberation of the Notice of Resolution of Expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as a member of the Party by the executive committee of the Orogun ward and Ughelli North Local Government Chapter dated 20th March, 2023 and accordance to the provision of Article 21.2 (1)(II)(VII) 21.3 and 21.5(g) of the constitution 2022 (as amended) we unanimously Resolved and Adopted the expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo Agege as a member of the Party.
“Consequently Senator Ovie Omo Agege HEREBY stands expelled as a member of the party with IMMEDIATE EFFECT for various offences committed and acts of anti party activities and gross misconduct that has brought shame and ridicule to the image of the party in the state which affected the party in the just concluded elections”.
The letter was signed by one Hon. Isaac Ulebor as state Chairman, Benjamin Imonivoseye (Deputy Chairman), Inana Michael (State Secretary) among others.
Spokesman of the Omo-Agege’s Campaign Council, Ima Niboro, when contacted, said he was not aware of such development, saying however that if there is any letter of such in circulation it must be fake and handiwork of mischief makers.
